I am an avid smoothie lover for those days that I am unprepared or have a busy morning, or just fancy a change… Here is the recipe for my absolute favourite green smoothie.
What you need:
For 1 serving.
- A blender – I use the NutriBullet and the tall cup.
- A sharp knife
- A chopping board
- 1 small apple (red)
- 1/2 medium avocado
- 1/2 large pear
- 1 large handful of spinach
- oats – I like to add a tablespoon or two of oats if I’m really hungry and they help to keep me fuller for longer.
- chia seeds – for some added fibre and a host of antioxidents.
Add all the ingredients into the blender and add a little water – if your smoothie is mega thick… just add a little more 🙂
