The Ultimate Green Smoothie R E C I P E

I am an avid smoothie lover for those days that I am unprepared or have a busy morning, or just fancy a change… Here is the recipe for my absolute favourite green smoothie.

What you need:
For 1 serving.

  • A blender – I use the NutriBullet and the tall cup.
  • A sharp knife
  • A chopping board


  • 1 small apple (red)
  • 1/2 medium avocado
  • 1/2 large pear
  • 1 large handful of spinach
  • water


  • oats – I like to add a tablespoon or two of oats if I’m really hungry and they help to keep me fuller for longer. 
  • chia seeds – for some added fibre and a host of antioxidents. 

Add all the ingredients into the blender and add a little water – if your smoothie is mega thick… just add a little more 🙂
