So… You Want to be a Minimalist?

I have spent the last few months thinking and overthinking about what I want from life. I have always been a worrier and I constantly over think things… and when I do this, I change my mind, I go back and forth over ideas and I can never think straight. One thing that helps with my anxiety and stress… is organising, decluttering and making my home the place I want to be all the time. I am in love with minimalistic everything and I love life without the clutter. I’m not saying this will be an over night change however it will be a journey to say the least. I actually hate leaving the flat and going to work and I am a total home body. I have worked really hard over the last couple of months on my mental health, creating blog ideas and life in general.

Due to my own mental health issues, I decided that I don’t need more things on my mind to clean and constantly tidy. One mess at a time please!! I have decided to head down the lane of slow living, minimising, decluttering and enjoying the area that we have moved to. At the end of last year we moved to Livingston, just outside of Edinburgh. There are so many beautiful places to visit, castles to see, small towns that are just so gorgeous. I want this blog to document the reasons why we moved and to help others if they are in a similar place as myself.
